As I told you last week, I absolutely love participating in Secret Santa. It’s so much fun to surprise a friend (or in this case, a blogger!) and it’s also pretty grand to receive a little gift too! After making my Secret Santa selection at JC Penney, I anxiously awaited for my secret santa gift to arrive in the mail. When my package arrived, I couldn’t wait to see what it was and who it was from. I opened it right away and totally loved the gift this blogger picked for me.
I was able to describe what my perfect gift would be on the Secret Santa form and because I love to cook and bake, I put that I’d love anything to do with the kitchen or entertaining. Well, my Secret Santa blogger did a rock star job picking out my gift! This beautiful chafing dish is going to come in handy this weekend with all the holiday partying we will be doing! I can use it to bake with AND as a serving dish. I really love it.
So… Who was my Secret Santa, eh?! I eagerly scanned the Santa tag that came with the gift and listened to the nicest, most thoughtful message personally recorded by my Secret Santa (drum roll please!) Stacey from Tree, Root, and Twig!!!
I was not familiar with her blog before this little gift fun process took place but I am SO glad she was my Secret Santa because I absolutely love love the gift she picked out for me and I found another fabulous blog to read! (Thank you, Stacey!!!!)
I have loved the ease of the JC Penney QR Santa cards. It’s so much better than just a card saying “surprise it’s me” because it’s so much more personal than that. The whole Secret Santa process has been nothing but fabulous and I will definitely be thinking about this next year when I do Secret Santa with my extended family.
Do you play Secret Santa during your holiday party?
Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of jcpenney and received a jcpenney Secret Santa gift and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

I love secret santa but we don’t really play except to my girls. Love what you picked. I did some kitchen stocking with my own holiday gift cards too. I’m excited about cooking again.
Secret Santa is so much fun:) I really like it at a workplace or if you have a big family it would be fun then too.
Um, awesome gift! I don’t have a secret santa but have in the past. I almost never enjoy the gifts… so I don’t usually play. You definitely had a great one .:)
I don’t personally do Secret Santa, but I think it would be fun! I’ll suggest this to my mom too because my parents, aunts, and uncles all do Secret Santa with each other. They’d love this!
WOW it’s beautiful and I love playing Secret Santa!
Awesome gift! Sounds like you guys had some fun with this secret santa thing!
