Oh how I have swooned over the Britax B-READY for the longest. A modular stroller that offers over 14 configurations, what’s not to love?! Coming from Britax, you know the B-READY is made with the safety of baby in mind but it’s also made for parents, like me. And you. Parents that want options when it comes to strollers. While the B-READY will run you about $500, it’s really the only stroller you’ll need, whether that be for a newborn, toddler, or a double stroller.
Newborn? Travel system? Double stroller? Yes, all of the above. With the B-READY, it’s all about the options and that’s where the 14 configurations come into play.
We received the new and improved 2012 Britax B-READY and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite strollers. Top three, easily. It is DH’s absolute favorite and we have already gotten a ton of use out of it. With it’s easy fold up, large storage basket, reversible top seat, and smooth ride, what’s not to love?!
We put together this quick video demonstration of the 2012 B-READY. Check it out!
*YouTube is being a PITA right now, video review coming soon!*
Some things I would like to see on the B-READY: a snack try. There is a parent cup holder but it sticks out of the side and can get in the way at times. We are frequently on the go so having a child snack try would be a nice amenity. Also, the stroller is pretty heavy, not overly bulky, just heavy. You can tell when you push it that it’s well built and sturdy, so the heaviness doesn’t bother me too much.
In other Britax news, they have this fabulous new “Registry Rewards” program that is perfect for expecting parents. You simply register for BOB or Britax products. When you are gifted (or purchase for yourself!) 1 eligible product from each of the 5 categories on the New Parent Checklist, you’ll receive a FREE BOULEVARD 70 Convertible Car Seat! Who doesn’t love free?!
The 2012 Britax B-READY can be purchased for $500 (but it’s on sale on Amazon!). This price includes the stroller itself with the CLICK & GO integrated adapter system that is compatible with the Britax Chaperone and B-SAFE infant seats. To accomplish the different configurations, you’ll need to shell out a bit more for the necessary adapters/seats. I made this nifty chart to give you an idea…
We plan on purchasing the 2nd seat once baby girl arrives, so she and Lucas can both stroll in style! I love that it’ll be one of the less bulky double strollers out there.
One lucky Mama B reader is going to win the new 2012 Britax B-READY stroller courtesy of Britax!
