Going into labor five weeks early was not on my agenda last month. I still had SO much to do to prepare for baby, including packing a hospital bag. I kept putting it off because I had plenty of time, or so I thought. When we were told that I was being admitted and having a baby, we had nothing with us. There were items that I absolutely needed while laboring: chap stick, headband, hair ties, etc. as well as things I would need once baby arrived. When I was admitted into labor and delivery, I sent DH home with a list of things to grab for me. This would have been a disaster if I hadn’t received a Babytime Bags bbBasic Pre-Packed Hospital Bag a few weeks beforehand. Instead of taking a long time to gather the items I needed and possibly forgetting something, I had him grab my Babytime Bag that contained everything I could need.
Babytime Bags takes all of the guess work out of packing a labor and delivery bag. “What do I pack in my hospital labor bag?!” is no longer something an expectant mama needs to dwell on, thanks to Babytime Bags! Babytime Bags is a pre-packed maternity bag collection by LuxeLife LLC. LuxeLife is a mom-owned-company, committed to creating and providing well thought-out, high quality products that address the needs and “wishes” of multi-tasking, highly motivated, extraordinary moms and moms-to-be {just like them}. Babytime Bags are made by moms, for moms, so you know it’s going to have everything you can think of in it!
Included in each bag are high-end, organic practical products that will help make your hospital stay comfortable and easy to prepare for — cross packing your bag off your list! The cost of a Babytime Bag is nearly half of what you would pay if you purchased everything that is included in this must-have carryall. Although I got use out of everything in my bag, there were several items that made labor and recovery so much easier. Bonus: everything came inside a gorgeous black tote that I now use as an extra diaper bag.
- Flip flops/shower shoes: I wore these postpartum while my ankles were so swollen that my regular shoes wouldn’t fit.
- Fuzzy socks: My hospital room was soo cold so it was nice having a cute pair of fuzzy socks to keep me warm.
- Slippers: I definitely would not have thought to pack slippers but am glad they were in my bag. It was nice having something to slip on/off for trips back and forth to the NICU and they were SO incredibly comfy. I still where them now
- Deodorant: It was a long labor. I got sweaty. ‘Nuff said.
- Pen and Pad: Again, not something I would have thought to pack but it was nice to have on hand. I used it to record times and it came in handy when writing my birth story.
- Headband and hair tie: I couldn’t stand my hair in my face so these things were lifesavers.
