Just keep swimming…

So… My poor blog. I’ve been neglecting it horribly lately. I have so so much stuff going on in my life right now and it’s super hard to deal with, talk about, or even function some days and unfortunately this blog (among other things…) is suffering because of it.

I’ve decided that while I’m not quite ready to divulge about all the rainy days that have consumed my life lately, I am ready to just keep swimming back to reality and back to doing what I love. I’m hoping that working on my blog will be a good distraction from everything… Therapeutic maybe? We will see.

Next week, I am SO excited to kick off the Mama B 2012 Holiday Gift Guide [ZOMG how is it mid-November already?!] with some fabulous sponsors and some rockin’ giveaways. Here’s just a small taste…

Excited? I am!

In other news… This girl?

Oh yea, she is 5 MONTHS OLD! What?! Crazy, huh! Time is absolutely flying and I find myself often staring in amazement and disbelief over my three babies.

This month reminds me that I have SO much to be thankful for – despite all of the crap that is happening all around me. Taking a hiatus from everything but motherhood has put things into perspective and has really made me sit back and analyze what is important and what is not. Over the next week, I will be surrounding myself with people who love me and grubbing on the most amazing food (Oh, and wine. Lots of wine!) and reminding myself that there is always a rainbow after the rain.

I’m going to just keep swimming :)

  1. Becca,
I have been thinking about you – hope you’re doing well and glad to see your back here! Can’t believe Sophia is already 5 months – cute as ever! :) You keep swimming! Sometimes things in life can seem overwhelming and I know it all too well. Keeping you in prayer :) God bless!

  2. I’ve definitely noticed your absence and hope everything is ok (or will be ok) for you! I must admit that Sophia is the cutest, most gorgeous baby girl I have ever seen. (dare I admit that she’s even cuter than my baby girl??) Good luck with everything!

  3. hang in there girl, we’re here for you!

  5. Hope things get better, but like you said you gave alot to be thankful for and a beautiful family!

  6. Hang in there! I have a 5 month old and 2 year old and have neglected my blog right now too! In fact I am switching over from wordpress to blogger because I don’t want to pay the hosting charges anymore. And it’s down right now and I don’t care :) Life is hard and I can only imagine going form 2-3 kids is even harder!!

Thinking of you! I hope you aren’t dealing with a sickness or a loss.

“Just keep swimming” is they first thing I thought in my head when we found out a criminal sold us a stolen car that was returned to to the owner and we were out the money. Gotta love Pixar and Disney movies!

  8. Cute!

  9. I admit I don’t check in unless I see your posts in my email. Just hoping your days are a little bit brighter. The busy season is here and I know all too well, as a mom of 6 and now granny of 6 with rotten health, that we all need to prioritize and try really hard to take the crap with a grain of salt and look at what other blessings we have. Not easy when so much comes at ya’. Just know we are thinking of you and your cuties:)
    Swim girl! We love ya!

  10. I was just thinking about you and wondering why I hadn’t seen you around online lately. I hope things are looking up. Your daughter is adorable and your gift guide sounds incredible!

  16. She is getting so big! I bet her smiles and giggles (and your boys) help you through the day. :)

  17. What a cutie! Time flies when they are little. Sending good thoughts your way and the rainbow is there, just sometimes the clouds block the view.

  18. Hope things are improving for you! Your baby girl is beautiful! That hair is amazing!

  19. she is so cute the little one of yours

  20. Glad you are back! Life tends to get in the way of blogging, doesn’t it?

  21. It always makes me smile to see her sweet face!

  22. Becca, I am so sorry to hear that times were hard. I hope everything is in a much better place now. She is a doll, BTW!

  23. Random fact: For someone, somewhere in the world, today is the most amazing day of their life. Hope today finds u closer on the spectrum of amazing than before. But I do have to say I hate ur sponsor ads. I am accessing this thru my nook and (how many times can I tell mcdonalds and quaker state I’m not the least bit interested n their ads.it would not b so bad if I could hit the button to close the ad with out it sending me to some random place, bcuz I am using a touchscreen on a notepad. Good luck w everything . Btw I have found a wonderful app that let’s u make list and digitally share them w people to whom u delegate. Wunderlist. Put my suggestion way at the bottom of ur list of things to get to.
