I’ve resisted calling my baby a toddler because frankly, the word ages her. Even at 15 months old (can you believe it?!) she’s still very much my BABY but I think I’m officially calling it: Miss Sophia is a toddler.
Fifteen months ago, Little Miss Sophia entered the world and it’s been one amazing whirlwind since. She is the absolute sweetest toddler and the cutest little thing. Yes, I am 100% biased.
She walks. She talks. She likes to [cautiously] explore her independence. Soph is very much a mama’s girl and I am loving every second of it. She is by far my most cuddly baby and loves to leg hug me 8249 times a day. She likes to look out the window and watch her brothers play. She eats all day long, literally, and has a very mature palate.
My heart explodes each day when I see my children interact with each other. Their bond is incredible and I am so blessed that my baby girl has the two best big brothers to look after her. Sophia idolizes her brothers and they loves her to pieces.
Sophia can be a demanding little stinker when she’s hungry. She “ahhhhhh” and “mmmmm’s” for food and if she isn’t fed fast enough, you’ll know it. She tries my patience by seeing how much she can get away with and works the cuteness factor in her favor.
At 15 months old, Sophia weighs just under 17 pounds, has 7 teeth, and does NOT sleep through the night. She has a great vocabulary that is expanding on the daily. She loves to give kisses and have her hair brushed. Bath time and walks around the neighborhood are her favorite parts of every day and her laugh and smile light up every room she’s in.
Now that we are officially out of the baby phase and hitting toddlerdom head on, I am excited to watch this amazing little person grow and thrive. As my last baby (toddler, whatevs) I’m enjoying it all and trying to soak in every second of it. I take way too many pictures so I can capture and treasure each milestone forever because time stops for no one and babies don’t keep.
